2.0 out of 5 stars Good Story Line - but absolutely no depth, 17 Aug 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Listen to the Shadows (Paperback)
Katie Summers who is the heroine of this story has had one love in her life "Todd" who went missing in Vietnam. She has dated several times since, but nothing serious. The book begins with Katie on a date with "Drake" who is much more interested in her that she is with him. The story then revolves around a car crash in which Katie has because she sees in her rear view mirror "dead eyes" - she survives the crash but it is then apparent that someone is after her - although we don't know why.

It really would be quite a good book if the characters were given some depth, some description - anything - but it's so basic. I felt I could never really understand what the characters were about because of the complete lack of description.

Read this book if you have nothing else to read - but if you do have something else in mind - read that instead!
