Product Description
Amazon.co.uk Review
This is a time book with a difference. All it takes is a few hours for Tom to paint the living room completely red--about three seconds to decide what to do with the paint, five minutes to get the lid off, three hours of painting. Once his mother has calmed down--10 seconds of exploding, one day to calm down, it takes a further three weeks to put everything right. Each step in the recovery process is documented in Stephen Tucker's hilarious dead-pan text and Nick Sharratt's hilarious, colourful illustrations.

This is a very simple picture book which is ideal for reading aloud and sharing with young children who will delight in Tom's naughtiness and be fascinated by the steps necessary to put things right. Nick Sharratt's colourful, distinctive and very funny illustrations provide the perfect accompaniment to this delightful picture story book. (Ages 3 to 7)

Synopsis
Take a tin of red paint. Take a boy called Tom. Mix the two together. How long will it take Tom before the trouble starts? This picture book introduces the concept of time to very young children in an amusing way.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Oh, Bum!!!!!", 4 Oct 2006

A fantastic book which has become my 4 years old favourite. Bright clear illustrations, lots to look at, great use of repetition plus introduces concept of passing time. My sons favourite bit is the time it took mum to calm down (lots of mild expletives from mum that crack my little boy up each time!).
