I liked this book even though I think that Claudia was pretty stupid in it. It was her own fault that more people turned up to the party than she invited - she should have made it more clear to the BSC who she wanted to invite.
Another thing I noticed is how her auntie and uncle, Peaches and Russ, have changed (grown up?). I don't think that, judging on the other books with them in, they would have acted how they did. They would have been more relaxed about it and maybe not turned up at all.

Still, it was a good book. It shows that it is possible to maintain two groups of friends at once, but you do have to try.

This is one of the better BSC books. I liked how they used Janine and Josh a little more. I also like Claudia's new seveth grade friends. I didn't like how Peaches and Russ turned so adult. This was a good book!!!!!!!
