You rarely come across books about dinosaurs with such fantastic artwork as in this one. This book is the reason I got into Wayne Barlowe. I have been fascinated by dinosurs from an early age and bought An Alphabet Of Dinosaurs because of the way the dinosaurs were portrayed in the illustrations - Barlowe makes them totally life like, doing unexpected things in such a colourful world.

Although the text is aimed at younger readers, the art that accompanies it is detailed and imaginative enough to be appreciated by all ages if you have any interest in dinosaurs or natural history art.
