It is now twelve years since the events recorded in Black Trillium. Haramis has devoted herself to the study of magic and science; Anigel governs her provinces with affection, seeking always the bright side of life; Kadiya has not changed - still impetuous, wild and careless. 4.0 out of 5 stars Trillium, 10 Feb 2002
By A Customer
I enjoyed the books but personally preferred the first one because the characters seem to have more life in them, whereas in this particular book Anigel the Queen and Kadiya the Warrior type of characters seemed to always be in trouble in every possible way. I thought that Anigel being Queen would help develop her character more and stop her from being so whiny but she still was but there was less of that in the first book. Haramis on the other hand-the scholar is a interesting character and brings some sense into her other sisters. The stories are about 3 triplets who represent a sacred flower-the trillium which has 3 petals. The world is destructive and full of trouble and that is where the sisters come into the story, being of royal blood they must help make the world right and fight evil in the form of a sorcerer. The book has magic and new legends in it which make it an interesting read when you have nothing better to do. There is also a little romance in the story which spices things up a little. Overall an interesting book with an interesting idea for a story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic.... can't wait to read lady of the trillium...., 7 Aug 2001

Fantastic.... it shows how someones character can change when someone or something they love is taken. The story takes of twelve years after *The Black Trillium* Queen Anigel and King Antar now have three children, Prince Niki, Princess Janeel, and Prince Tolovir. The royal family visits a distant land to witness the coronation of a young King, which turns out to be a disastor when a magican shows up and kidnaps the royal children and King Antar, holding them ransom for Queen Anigels talisman.

Meanwhile Kadiya is off visiting a distant island trying to form a peace treaty between the newly cornated King, and the islands inhabitants. Unforntunatly trouble accures and Kadiya loses her talisman. While all this happens, Haramis relizes the world is unbalanced once again and to try and match the magicians powers, and find the key to finally destroying the magicain, means getting over her long lost love. And holding on to her talisman... to save the world. And on top of all that, one of the royal children may be tempted into being a dark magician.

This is a great book, and makes a wonderful sequal to Black Trillium, it is full of action and adventure from every aspect! I encourage everyone to read it, and hope that they like it as much as I did!
