5.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a loss for words...insurmountable! There we go., 14 Nov 2000
By A Customer
One of my all-time favorites novels ever. Astoundingly beautifully written, and just...a magneficent piece. All these ajdectives and words are so understated, it just courses far beyond. I loved this book because it's a realsitic fantasy, the characters are alive and there, and YOU are there, and it's a tale full of the utmost pulchritude, and it's pretty much heart-wrenching. Whether you like vampires or not... This is also the only book that I've read from Mr. Martin, so I don't know if there are others out there that can surpass this. I wonder. I place this book up there with Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind. So there.
