Product Description
There has never been a massive blockbusting SF actioner quite so po-faced as THE MATRIX. With a lead actor who can barely say 'Neatcher' let alone spell it, THE MATRIX and its confused sequels have nevertheless spawned an immense following. THE MCATRIX DERIDED will take the themes of twisted realities, paranoia and godhead, the imagery of spoons, dark glasses and impractical long coats and the terror of slow moving bullets and iron octopoid-spidery robot thingys and give them a damn good parodying.

4.0 out of 5 stars You are the No One, 31 Oct 2004
By A Customer
When you reach the core of this book, there is a deep sensible plot. But on the amour... one of the best parodies ever made. A.R.R.R Roberts has done an excellent job on maintaining a sensible story combining elements of humour to keep the reader interested.

Nemo's gabbling about Thinity on the train is one of the longest and funniest paragraphs I have ever read. There are some little tidbits at the back that you might be interested in. Some are Matrix related, and some are not but are side - splitting nonetheless ( I'm trying to keep the spoiler factor low here, people).

It has to be exceptional to be a five. I gave it a four. There was a certain quality in the book which was lacking. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but there you go

3.0 out of 5 stars A Parody of the Matrix Triology, 5 Feb 2005
Don't get me wrong this book is indeed a funny and enjoyable, that is until you get to part 3. Part 3 is thankfully very short and I was very glad to get through this section, as it bored and irrated me as it was not funny at all in the slightest.

The third setion also turned me off reading the supplimental material at the back of the book, which I will have to read at a later date.
