5.0 out of 5 stars Can you take the assembly this morning!, 30 Jun 2002
By A Customer
As a deputy headteacher who has to do 2 assemblies a week and others at very short notice, this book has been a very valuable resource. The book contains a wide range of thought provoking, often amusing stories that appeal to all ages from Reception to Year 6. They raise issues that can then be further developed in the assembly or during PHSE lessons. The stories are well written and keep the children fully engaged.

5.0 out of 5 stars School Assembly--here I come, 20 Nov 2004
By Barbara Hallsworth (Wilmslow, Cheshire England) - See all my reviews
As a Headteacher this book was invaluable to me, especially if assemblies had to be taken at short notice. The stories are short & very suitable for reading out loud.I used them from Nursery age to 11 year olds. The book was frequently borrowed by my colleagues as there was always a story for whatever topic they were dealing with.I can recommend the 2nd book too.
