Ampersand is one of The Seven Professors involved in a project to develop a university on the island of Nordbergen off the coast of Norway and Russia. Ampersand summons the rest of the group and, with the help of the children, becomes embroiled in a race to unravel the mysterious secret that lies deep within the island of Nordbergen...
About the Author
John Fardell is a cartoonist and illustrator who regularly contributes to Viz, and, among others, the Independent, the Evening Standard and the Glasgow Herald. He is also a puppet maker and performer. He lives with his family in Edinburgh and this is his first children's book.
