5.0 out of 5 stars The only French cookbook you need., 19 Jan 2001
By francis@btinternet.com (Milton Keynes, England) - See all my reviews
Having used the hardback version of this book for over eight years, I wholeheartedly recommend this book. I have now tried forty or fifty of the recipes. Every one was a success, and many are suitable for entertaining and impressing your dinner guests. Indeed, several of my dinner guests bought their own copy of this book.

All of the recipes that I have tried were very easy to make, with no difficult skills or techniques required. Recipes are organised in an unusual manner, some being grouped by the flavours used (basil, garlic etc.) Still others are organised by the time of the year when the ingredients are available. Each recipe is accompanied by a short description that gives some idea of the original source of the recipe.

You will not need any other French cookbook.
