5.0 out of 5 stars You don't have to be a Lee Marvin fan to read this book., 1 Feb 2002
This book is a story of an unbelievable man.
The story of lost love, rekindled love. Indepth details of real life war experiences. Then the book turns to the films Lee made, it tells of his passion of fishing, his love for his family and the trumour of The Trial:"Virulent Imagination".
Like any good book, film it eventually tells of the events which run up to Lee Marvin's Death in 1987.Anybody who love's biographies, or reading about people will love to read this. I was so into the book it was hard to put it down, i felt like part of the family living it with them. God bless Lee Marvin, and thanks to Pamela Marvin for writing and sharing this book with us.

5.0 out of 5 stars A gripping romance, 7 Oct 2002
I loved this book. I hadn't realized that Lee Marvin was such a gentleman. The story of Pamela and Lee who were childhood sweethearts finally getting together when they were 40 and 46 was very uplifting to me. I grieved for them when they had to go through the Triola trial and grieved for them when Lee, such a strong man, died so soon. I hope that Pamela has continued happiness with their children and grandchildren and many happy memories.
