Synopsis
This is a compilation of stories and essays. Pedro Almodovar has established himself with films like "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" and "High Heels", this book features his comic creation Patty Diphusa, the high-class porn queen, who tells stories to make you hair curl. Her "memoirs" show an inexhaustible capacity for excess, plus a taste for reflection on the human condition. The book includes accompanying essays on film which form a kind of autobiography - particularly "How to Become an Internationally Renowned Film Maker" - which reflects on Almodovar's career from the early days of "Super 8".
