4.0 out of 5 stars Where have all the bleedin' words gone?, 2 May 1999
By A Customer
Not as good as the TV versions - the comic timing is a bit suspect but includes 4 of the better episodes. It's disappointing to see certain classic lines missing from the scripts as well as having many of the swear words removed. One point in case is at the end of Upstairs, Downstairs ... when Harold gives Albert a bed bath with surgical spirit and Harold shouts out "Arrrgh me goulies!" - missing from this version - why? As with the other volumes in this series, Amazon (The BBC?) have neglected to mention the 4 episodes included so here they are: 1. The Desperate Hours, 2. Come Dancing, 3. Upstairs Downstairs, Upstairs Downstairs and 4. A Star is Born
