5.0 out of 5 stars Morton does it again!, 6 Aug 2001
By A Customer
Another fantastic outing by John Morton, whose comic writing is among the best we have in Britain. Roy Mallard is a fascinating creation; a man who bumbles his way through interviews, using the most tortured sentences in his voice-overs. Yet despite his inept interviewing technique, he seems to uncover the strangeness of everyone he meets to great comic effect. More please!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant., 2 April 2001
By A Customer
Get it. Get it for Chris Langham's brilliant delivery. Get it for the exquisitely literal gymnastics of the writing. Get it for a consistently deadpan and funny cast; just get it, before other people find out about it and spoil the fun of being in on one of the funniest programmes ever made.

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant spoof fly on the wall documentaries, 26 Dec 1999
By vlane@guernsey.net (Guernsey, CI) - See all my reviews
Chris Langham may finally get the comic credit he deserves with this superb series of spoof documentaries. A visit to a school, a legal practice among others enable not only digs at the documentary genre but also wonderful comic situations. Roy Mallard the hapless interviewer is a great comic creation. Ths series is well worth a listen. Enjoy!
