5.0 out of 5 stars A classic colouring books, 26 May 2003
By Rivercassini "Rivercassini" (London) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
A classic-style colouring book which takes you into the world of Harry Potter and his friends as they experience their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Providing hours of fun for Harry fans, some the pictures presented are too detailed for the youngest Potter fans to appreciate, making this more suitable for 5 to 7 year olds rather than toddlers.

2.0 out of 5 stars Inside Hogwarts Colouring Book, 26 Nov 2001
By A Customer
In the explosion of articles and merchandise with the Harry Potter tag on them, this very posh colouring book disappoints very much in that it's impoverished for want of pictures and events from the wondeful book(s). With the very few pages to colour I hope my little girls are not disappointed by what would have been an exciting opportunity to interact with the character(s) they love most from the books. I'd say don't buy this one unless you don't mind the overly slick and highly polished presentation and yet only 8 or 10 pages for the children to colour. I think that Rowling would disapprove.

3.0 out of 5 stars What's JK Rowling's Harry Potter and friends like?, 17 Sep 2001
By A Customer
What is esentually a kids colouring book is at first sight ok, but you are inclined to ask your selve does JK Rowling really need to do so many petty spin offs? OK dont get me wrong I am a Harry Potter nut her books are absoloutly fantastic being 13 myself I know what I like and Harry Potter is the best book I have ever read, but a colouring book REALLY. Anyway the pictures are all pretty good and it's bound to give your toddler hours of fun scribbling, mutilating and drooling over the pages( if your child is old enough not to scribble and drool im sorry but that is how I see it). JK Rowling drew most of the pictures her self for use in the book, but was told by the publisher that this was for an older age group. In my opinion JK should stick to what she's best at writng the proper Harry Potter books.

This was writtenby a 13 year old Chris Stevens

3.0 out of 5 stars For children's only
This book has to be for 7 under, limit 8. It has nice drawings but really, isn't it a bit stupid to color in books when you have the actual books? Read more
