5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Giles Wemmbley Hogg and this is my story............., 11 Nov 2003
Giles Wemmbley Hogg (2 Ms,2 Gs), Gormless "Middle Class Ponce" and student traveller is one of the funniest comedy characters to find his way onto Radio 4. Co-writer Marcus Brigstock (The Now Show & We Are History) stars as the inept, guileless Giles as he travels all over the world, meets new people and inadvertantly offends most of them.

Very politically incorrect "according to the Daily Mail we'll all be speaking Moslem by 2014", this is the kind of comedy that you can listen too over and again and still find it very funny.

I first heard the genius comedy creation of Marcus Brigstocke on The Now Show in 1999 and he has only got funnier since. This selection from the first series showcases the wonderful ineptitude and inadvertent hilarity of Giles Wemmbley Hogg as he travels the world. Jolly well hope that the second and third series make it to CD in the near future! I cannot recommend this enough - your CD player deserves this sitting in it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 7 April 2003
Heard this when it went out on Radio 4. The superb writing of Jeremy Salsby, Marcus Brigstocke and Graeme Garden along with great performance from Marcus make it well worth another listen now it's on CD. VERY FUNNY!!!
