A beautiful tale of love, sorrow and discovery, a must read!, 2 Jun 2001
By A Customer
This enchanting story leads you through a roller coaster of feelings as you get to know and love our "Little Women". Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth are the four March sisters and along with Theodore Laurence, better known to the girls as Laurie, get into all sorts of mischief. The tale follows a year of discovery for the March girls and your hearts warm to them more and more as the tale goes on. You feel the joy of the return of the injured soldier Mr March and the sorrow as little Beth , the "pet" of the family, falls ill. I cannot find any fault in this wonderfully crafted novel and can goes as far as to say that this is my favourite book of all time. I hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I do.

A heart-warming & accomplished dramatisation, 18 Oct 2004
By A Customer
This version of Little Women is an outstanding example of what the BBC does best. A first-class cast, including the excellent Gayle Hunnicutt as Marmee, Gemma Redgrave from the famous acting dynasty, and Marcus D'Amico in a subtle performance as Laurie. The dramatisation made the book come alive for me and my family - even our young sons enjoyed it,
