3.0 out of 5 stars Twists in Time, 12 Mar 2000
After a few listens it is evident that this is a slightly better story than the previous radio serial. Again, we join the 3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee), Sarah Jane Smith, the Brigadier and Jeremy (thankfully slightly less annoying). There are a few other characters who grate slightly (Uncle Mario and Sandra Dickinson's character) but overall this story is more even than the first.

It develops at a fair pace and delivers some interesting ideas, exploring the notion that negative emotions, especially those generated at the moment of death can resonate in some other dimension. As the story progresses, the Doctor and Sarah travel to different periods in time and gradually the story unfolds. Interesting twists throughout make up for a slow start.

If you liked "Paradise of Death" then buy this one, give it a couple of listens - I think you will find it an improvement.
