5.0 out of 5 stars Great new author, 21 Jul 2009
Bought Switch last week & read it over the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good strong characters, twists & good ending. Kept me on the edge throughout. Really looking forward to his next book. If you like authors such as Lee Child, Tess Gerriston, Linda Fairchild, & Stephen Leather this book should be next on your list.

5.0 out of 5 stars "SWITCH ON TO THIS BOOK", 19 Jul 2009
By C. P. Garfield (Worcester, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I was contacted by GRANT McKENZIE the author after he saw I was a fan of LEE CHILDs' JACK REACHER books on Facebook and recomended his book.
So I took a chance and ordered the book which then sat on the shelf for a couple of days till I finished the book that I was reading.
Some of the chapters are short, one to two pages and some are several pages.
I add this because no matter what size the chapters are you just want to keep reading another one.
This book is addictive from the start, every page turn leads to another and another, the story is captivating; LEE CHILD commented " A terrific Thriller I Loved It" and I can only agree.
I am now eagerly awaiting GRANT'S next book which I will definately be pre ordering.
The story is based on two people who's lives are connected by a tragedy and their nemesis, plus the people touched by their journey.
I cannot put much as it will spoil the story, so my recomendation :- GO ON BUY THIS BOOK you will not regret it !!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A treat to read, 26 Jul 2009

Unputdownable first novel from Grant McKenzie. This book grips from the first chapter. Just loved the interaction between the two main characters and how old acquaintances can become crucial to the survival of two families. 'Switch' was a cracking good read and just imagine how good the next one is going to be. I am along for the journey Grant and long may it last.
