2 people totally opposed to marriage find themselves involved in murder investigation and abiding by the rules of the time end up having to marry to save the lady in questions reputation. add in some unsympathetic relatives, loveable grandmamma and a rogue of a brother and you get a fair tale. interesting romance with a murder mystery added in but could have had the romance be more exciting.
