4.0 out of 5 stars An absolutely must for all Xenites.., 13 Aug 1999
By A Customer
If you are the least interested of the tv-show Xena, this is the book for you. All small, maybe not important but facinating, details that you could ever want. All behind the scenes fact and bios of the actors. Also full 2 season episode guide. In all - the bible for all Xenites in the world.

4.0 out of 5 stars Xena: The Myth, The Facts, the comical anecdotes., 21 Aug 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Xena: Warrior Princess (Paperback)
This is a well presented book, the photos are great, especially those of the gorgeous Hudson Leick. Unfortunatly there are very few behind the scenes shots, however this lack of pictoral info is made up for by the wealth of backstage stories and details that are involved. The episode guide is detailed and interestingly has info on any original myths that the episode may have been based on and how it is changed. The tone is one of enjoying and not revering the show, when it's bad, Weisbrot is not afraid to say so, refreshing really. Anything that you want to know about Xena's first 2 series are here, why make it, how it came about, how Lucy Lawless got the job, it's all here. Unfortunatly it stops at the end of series 2 and there has been another 4 series since then and it would be nice to see an updated version of it for that reason. This book is a must for all Xena-philes out there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!, 21 Aug 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Xena: Warrior Princess (Paperback)
This book gives hundreds of litle known details about the stars. It also gives a huge amount of information on the behind the scenes work that goes on. A must have for all Xena fans - I heartily recommend it. (It is only limited by the fact that it only has details up to the second season, however, this does not withdraw from the experience of reading it)
