5.0 out of 5 stars Great! It should become a film!, 12 Aug 1999
By A Customer
This final book in the Trilogy is the best. It brings together the great characters introduced in the first two books and describes their relationships brilliantly. The New Jedi Knights are a great addition to the Star Wars Universe.

5.0 out of 5 stars a thrilling end to the trilogy..., 24 Aug 2006
By leathercharmer "leathercharmer" (jersey, channel islands) - See all my reviews
Ignore the review below, kevin J.Anderson truly describes the force and the characters in the manner we have seen in the movies. And as for the superweapons, there is a story with substance and depth to back it. BRILLIANT!!

2.0 out of 5 stars One of the worst Star Wars book ever, 30 Nov 1999
By A Customer
Kevin J. Andersson concludes his sad trilogy with this poor work of fiction, leaving too many loose ends and unaswered question. He seems to have a very bad grasp of the characters, including the ones he himself created, and an overblown love for superweapons. Since it's action packed, and atleast enjoyable at occasions, so I don't feel that it deserves the lowest rating.

Only read this if you're interested in knowing everything about the Star Wars universe.

This book was good, a good end to the jedi academy trilogy, Exar Kun is written very well. Kyp is the best part of the novel.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does nothing to salvage the previous two books...
I'll get right to it: the problem here, is that Anderson writes novels with plots worthy of comic books. Depth, complexity, introspection, dimension are all foreign to him. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars I like this book, and the series
I really do like this book.. and the series.. in my opinion, better than Zahn's stuff. I like the flow of the story and the cliffhangers at the end of each book.
