A tale about a little donkey named Star, whose dreams of being a "real star" one day turn into reality when the children want to use a donkey in their Nativity play. This book should be suitable for new readers in the 5-7 years-old age group.

Star is a scruffy donkey who shares a field with Moon, a sleek, beautiful pony. He loves hearing Moon's stories of winning rosettes and prizes at grand shows. Star wishes he had a story to tell, too.
