Lavishly illustrated with more than 100 colour and black-and-white photographs, as well as star charts and diagrams, this book is attractive and approachable as well as highly informative. About the Author
H.J.P. Arnold was an assistant to the managing director of Kodak Ltd before setting up his own photo library devoted to astronomy and space flight. He is the space and astronomy correspondent of the British Journal of Photography. Arnold has written several books and many articles on astronomical imaging, as well as biographies of historical photographic personalities. He is a regular guest on Sir Patrick Moore's 'The Sky at Night' and was in BBC TV's studio team for the later Apollo landings. He lives in Havant, Hampshire.
