I travel throughout Kent and Sussex for my work and the Philip's Street Atlas series of books are an invaluable aid. I find the books very clear, colourful, and acurate to use and unlike some other books they cover the whole area, not just the towns. The index list every road and street so makes a perfect guide for finding your way around. I would recommend the hard back books if you intend to use them frequently as the pages of the spiral bound books can tear loose.
