I think this book contains a lot of very intersting material but I was very disappointed of the presentation. The whole purpose of books of this type is to give a structured introduction to a field. This book is very poorly structured and doesn't really serve as an introduction. Some things are covered in tedious detail and others are just referred to in a rather confusing way. I think the editor ought to take this text another round with the author and it could become a much better book.
