This book is great for editors and proofreaders who work in various scientific disciplines. Data are easy to find as it's been well divided into sections such as 'Fungi' and 'Compounds of Biochemical Importance'. Simple explanations are given too (e.g. why something is italic), unlike a straightforward reference book, so even if an example is not given the reader can work out what would be the correct style. I hate working without it!
