Maybe not all full proof, but certainly enough to start some deeper investigation. Sometimes after a first read too unbelievable, but after some thinking ... you say "Yes of course!".

Just hope our "civilisation" (? if you can call it civilisation ?) is a little further than the one 15000 years ago !

This book represents the best interpretation on the subject. Von Daniken's hypothesis simply does not do the material justice. Hancock has done it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Thought Provoking, 6 May 2009

I read this book for the first time many years ago and lent it to someone who didn't return it - perhaps he was as impressed as me! When I bought and read a second copy I enjoyed it even more. Graham Hancock has carried out a staggering amount of research and his conclusions are totally convincing. His step-by-step analysis of the facts are easy to follow despite his occasionally overly-wordy explanations. I found his style and presentation, complete with his numerous photographic images to be most impressive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time to review your ideas of history.
With his well researched book, Hancock challenges the dogma of our everyday belief in western concepts of Victorian age history and science. An important read.
