1.0 out of 5 stars Dire Trash., 18 Oct 2003
This book is possibly the worst I have ever had the misfortune to read. The characters are two-dimensional and cliche, the typical clash of personality partners cop story. Add to which the predictable love denied line.
But by far the worst thing about this book is the abysmal plot which has absolutely no bearing on reality.
How this book ever became published is beyond me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good whodunit with some hokey computer stuff included, 16 Dec 1998
By A Customer
The book starts exceptionally well, developing the character of "detective" Stonecoat particularly well. The story starts to stumble when computers and old computer games are introduced to the story. Walker seems to have an underdeveloped feel for either the technology ("Communicated via modem" comes to mind) or the type of personality that over-indulges in computer games. The strength of the rest of the book makes it worth reading anyway.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Thrills, 15 Jul 1998
By A Customer
A great thriller! Lots of facinating characters and excitement. It was very hard to put down. I did not expect much at first since this was not a novel involving Dr. Jessica Coran but I was delighted with following the adventures of Stonecoat. I hope more books of the potential series come out!

5.0 out of 5 stars I thought it was great and would highly recommend it.
Having read a few of Mr. Walker's Instinct series, I was hoping for better, and I got it. Cutting Edge kept me on the edge of my seat! Read more
