The World of Interiors

'In Finnis's photographs...(the) values and fashions which she saw through her lens now seem as dead as the dodo, lending these pictures a charming, nostalgic melancholy.'

4.0 out of 5 stars A lovely book !, 21 Aug 2009
By Le Liseuer "Le Liseur" (Le Gers France.) - See all my reviews
This well researched book contains small biographies of the people who shaped the look of the English garden, before and after two world wars. Anyone who likes gardens, even if they are not keen on the act of gardening, cannot help but be fascinated by this book. Highly recommended.
