Lovely illustrations, especially if you like fashion and Erte. However, I have only given it 3 stars because it is only in black and white. One of the things that makes Erte so wonderful is his use of colour and I miss that in this publication. If it were in colour I would have given it 5 stars.

This book is a pure inspiration for those who admire detail, quality and glamour in fashion. Erte's designs are a pleasure to look at and get ideas from. This book provides you with wonderful illustrations, most of which are black-and-white. I have been a little dissappointed by the fact that there weren't enough colour images in the book because Erte is famous for his rich colour scheme and combinations.

But nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed looking through this book and would recommend it for those who like very unusual and perfectly illustrated designs.
