4.0 out of 5 stars A very interesting theory on the real location of Atlantis., 2 Mar 1999
By A Customer
I read this book expecting something a little more mystical but came away convinced of the theory that Atlantis isn't lost at all, just changed. Recent findings of a lost civilization's walls buried beneath volcanic lava in New Zealand give even more concrete evidence to this theory; it might just be real! You'll never look at the story of Noah's ark the same way again. I recommend it for a fresh perspective on the Lost Continent. Very plausable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Atlantis-the antediluvian world Ignatius Donnelly, 6 Feb 2004
A fascinating book - well before it's time. Thought provoking and plausible, it has been well-researched by it's author, and surely must still be one of the definitive and scolarly volumes of it's kind - remember that this was originally written in 1882.Whilst the fascination with the world flood myths continue, this book provides an insight into myth, custom and key word roots found throughout the world that are associated with the deluge. The story continues......

5.0 out of 5 stars AT-LAST, ATLANTIS EXPLAINED, 30 Jul 1999
By A Customer
This definitive work on the long lost continent of Atlantis is not only a classic of modern thought, but an overwhelming theory on the characteristics, beliefs, and world influence that Atlantis has had. I highly recommend Donnelly's Atlantis to any reader who is interested in social science or a good old Atlantean investigative report.
