5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent details of all aspects of equity investing., 8 Oct 2000
By A Customer
I bought this book as a total beginner to the stock markets and share dealing. I have found that I cannot put it down. It details all aspects of investing in the stock markets primarily on the LSE but also goes into details of foreign indices. I would say that this is a good book for beginners and intermediates alike. Very highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars An eye-opening guide to the world of investment!!, 6 Aug 1999
By A Customer
I bought this book as a beginner; I didn't know that much about stock markets, investing, investment strategies and so on. This book is not only written well to keep you hooked but also provides some practical information on `how it all works` and how the stock market gurus made their millions, for example, Sir James Goldsmith.

It explains some relativley complicated ideas and theories behind stock market investing in plain, simple English. The book comes complete with an extensive glossary which, again, is in plain English. Although the book is suitable for beginners it is also suitable for intermdiates. I would say it is probable not suitable for professionals as they should know how to do their job anyway!!

After reading this book I would reccomend it to everyone. 5 out of 5!!
