The emphasis with this book is very much on principles rather than practice. In fact I fail to see how the author could justify including the word practice in its title. It introduces the laplace transform on page 11, and there is not a single example of computer code anywhere to be found in its 768 pages. Do not buy this book looking for assistance with practical implementation details.
