3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointingly Biased, 1 Feb 2006
This book is very biased towards the game, The dark age of Camelot as it’s author, Scott Jennings is one of the lead developers, almost everything described in the book relates to mostly dark age of Camelot, World of warcraft and some aspects of EverQuest. It totally disregards other online games, like EVE Online, Anarchy Online, Second Life and other popular online game.

If this book was called The dark age of Camelot for Dummies, it would be just fine, but the book tries to pass itself off as a generic guide to the whole online gaming genre, but comes out as being biased.

However if you are a dark age of Camelot fan or looking to get into the game, this would be a good book for you, otherwise I would look elsewhere.
