5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful pratical introduction to Usability testing, 14 Nov 2000
By A Customer
I found this book to be very helpful in assisitng me to evaluate the usability testing efforts of an agency performing some front end design for my company. It allowed me to enter into an intelligent debate with them, argue on some finer points and ultimately to receive a lot more useful information from the tests we have conducted than would have been the case otherwise

3.0 out of 5 stars A jump-start into usability testing, 5 Oct 1998
By A Customer
This handbook is certainly worth the time reading, if not for the very practical examples offered. As a handbook, I would have expected a more scientific approach, but as far as it goes, the examples given make up for it. It gives you examples of acceptance criteria and, for instance, different settings of the usability environment with pro's and con's.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you will be performing a usability test, read the book., 27 Aug 1999
By A Customer
Mr. Rubin provides some of the principles of User Centered Design and explains how to perform a usability test session to ferret out some of the usability problems. A wonderful guide for someone who will be performing usability tests and would like to be able to refer to some guidelines, report formats, and technique suggestions.
