This book has been a big help in the redesigning of speech interfaces. Its clear and easily readable technique has made it a worthwhile addition to my desk. It is a book which can be used as a quick guide and also as a reference book for recommending redesign and the implementation of new services. I would recommend this book to anyone who is entering the world of speech interfaces, whether designer or developer. This book gives a solid grounding of the basics but also extends into more indepth information. I also must express my glee when I found the chapter concerning introducing Human Factors and giving an overview as it helps push the importance of Human Factors and the role that it plays in the development of these services.
