3.0 out of 5 stars Some usefull examples, 5 Jun 2002
By A Customer
Even though this was without doubt a very good book, I found it to lack some more advanced code and that some of the examples supplied were somewhat repetitive only written to "fill gaps" in the table of contents. I also found that a program to easily access and search code from the CD would have come in usefull. Otherwise, excellent book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book with some excellent examples & Code, 5 Jan 2001
By markt@mccabe.co.uk (London, England) - See all my reviews
I bought the book after reading the review and visiting the associated Web site. I have not been disappointed. As a beginner to VB programming I have used a number of the examples in my code to great effect. The various concepts are very clearly explained and the sample code holds no hidden 'extras' that are not explained in the text. An excellent reference book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Saving - This book Rocks!, 5 Sep 2001
I now have several books on VB. I've read plenty of theory. If like me though you learn by doing and by example in particular this book is a godsend, especially for beginners like myself. If you only buy a couple of books buy another for the theory and then buy this book. This is the best book I own. Rod, you are the Man!
