3.0 out of 5 stars A useful book for those undertaking research., 7 Jan 2000
By A Customer
The book deals with a very tedious subject in a matter-of-fact way. It must be read in short bursts so as to keep motivation high.

1.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended as a cure for insomnia., 29 Aug 1999
By A Customer
I purchased this book because it is the prescribed text for the unit I am studying.

I could not read it for more than 15 minutes before my eyes turned to lead. It states the obvious much of the time and is very dull and boring.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good coverage however a little hard to understand

This book does cover a wide range of topics and would be appropriate for a newcomer to research methods and statistics. Read more
