3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing..., 26 Sep 2009
By Andrew Hodgson (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Unlike the previous review, I found this collection of games rather disappointing. The games in themsleves are OK (-ish!), but I had hoped for something relevant to my class of older primary-aged children. These games would be enjoyed by younger children in my opinion, but in many cases are a bit babyish for older children (in my opinion). I also found the distinctly American style rather irritating.

As I said, there are good games in here for younger children, but for older children there are better resources available. I'll be returning my copy of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy-to-read, very fun approach to the subject., 27 Oct 1998
By A Customer
Like Barbara's other books, Self Esteem Games is a well-written, easy to read, fun guide to a serious subject. Is appropriate for parents and professionals alike.
