5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful book on a beautiful designer, 16 Sep 2005
This book has really done justice to the work of Philip Webb. Beautifully illustrated with old plans and drawings as well as new photography, this is a must-read for any architecture or Arts & Crafts fan. Delving into Webb's interesting private life as well as his work, it creates a really vivid picture of a trully fascinating individual, who in my opinion has been unjustly overlooked in the many chronicles of the Arts & Crafts Movement. This book however has more than filled this void.
