A fairly disappointing and now seeming somewhat dated book that seems to spend too much time explaing to people how Symbian OS evolved from the early Psion handhelds to where it is today. It attempts to take the reader from knowing little about communications to writing software in a single book and thus leaves out much of the detail required to truely make a quality reference.
Sadly missing is any mention of how the bluetooth SDP may be utilised by an application instead concentrating almost purely on client side programming rather than extending the OS's server abilities.
In fact one of the most important aspects of Symbian as far as communications is concerned (Being Bluetooth) rates a mere 40 pages, for which the author summarises by saying it's been a long chapter...
