Format- a series of clear exercises step by step comands. It simplifies later for what you should have picked up by that point in the book. I have worked with cad for about 5 years. In that time mostly just 2d. 3d was regarded as too long winded to learn and of little application use in construction site plans, which have their own format. I was scared I would look stoopid, with clumsy drawings anyway. But this book answers every question of basic to moderate complexity. Well worth it if you can't get anywhere with those obtuse 3d chapters in Autocad manuals. Could have had some render exercises, so I took a star off. Worth the money and you will use it.

The whole book contains many practical exercises that demonstrate how to create 3D models. It is much easy to learn AutoCAD by doing these exercise instead of reading other AutoCAD's instructions books .
