I bought this book during the second year of my midwifery course and immediately found it to be limited in the topics it covers and in the information provided on each topic. I then bought the Oxford Handbook of Midwifery (as this book did not meet my needs). I use the Oxford Handbook of Midwifery constantly and never this one.

This seems - only having looked at what is available on this website - to be a good book. Best for First and Second years, but also for third years as an aide memoire becuase if you hav'n't got the hang of this by now you may as well give up!
