This was the first cookbook I bought when I became a vegetarian nearly 10 years ago, and it remains one of my very favorites. The recipes are easy to follow, use virtually no esoteric ingredients, and are remarkably flavorful.

If you have a random selection of vegetarian ingredients, this book will have a recipe. No seductive and enticing photos. A bit US orientated (measures , nomenclature and ingredients). This is my second copy - but under a different title (I wore out the first esp the cakes section)

I have read and foraged through this book and I find it to be helpful and most informative - I am looking forward to testing the recipes and to stock my larder more appropriately. A great encourager to re-look at what I am eating! We are what we eat - I am going to improve the way I eat and therefore what I am!
