This book brought me to my own Age of Enlightenment, 26 Nov 1998
By A Customer
A leatherbound edition came into my hands when I was thirteen - and I was in rural Philippines. (I now live in Australia.) I do not know how the book came to my part of the world, but it surely opened my sexual horizons. Being a non-English speaker, I found a lot of the terms alien to me, but gradually learned their meanings. The book brought me to new heights of pleasure, and ushered me into my own Age of Enlightenment.

erotic reading, 18 Feb 2001
By A Customer
Apart from a reference to under age sex in a chapter, which i am not happy about, this book is very erotic and like most people i read this book when my parents left it laying around !! I was about 14 very handy !!! If you like erotic reading then this is for you. I really like the old victorian words for descriptions of various body parts and functions, they dont make em like "pego" any more. this book is well worth a read, just wish i had had half of walters adventures.

Victorian naughtiness at it's best., 14 Aug 1998
By A Customer
This book is suppose to be autobiographical, and if true shows an interesting side to Victorian sexual mores. While reading this book remember that the Victorians covered chair legs for modesty reasons, and therefore the writings are quite explicit for that time period. I enjoy My Secret Life every time I go back to it.
