Ex-cop Deirdre McMannus, convicted of a crime she did not commit, has lost everything she cared for - her badge, her partner, her religion and her link-implant. And now to make matters worse, her life has started to be plagued by beings that just might be angels...

Fast-moving first-person narrative in the world-weary style of Raymond Chandler, with a cast of the usual cyber-thriller suspects - terrorists, mutants, megalomaniacs and hackers. Lyda Morehouse has great fun playing the extrapolation game, taking current trends to their logical extremes and (well) beyond - for example, a future USA where citizenship and net access depends upon membership of a religious organisation. Some nice technological touches and some interestingly enigmatic minor characters, but on the whole more likely to appeal to confirmed fans of the genre.

Archangel Protocol is absolutely mindblowing. Well written and a universe you get wirvled into letter by letter, sentence by sentence, page by page. The storyline is brilliant and I love the biblical twist it has. Not much else to say actually other than: READ IT!

The same goes for Fallen Host and Messiah Node. They're also very brilliant and I'm looking forward to the 4th in the series.
