Being a big fan of Jane Goodger, I couldn't wait to get my hands on her newest novel. I absolutly loved it. I've read other reviews that weren't so great, but I found this story to be wonderful.

Determined to go to San Francisco to find her missing fiance, Hannah Wright signs on as navigator with Captain James MacRae's ship. During the 100 day journey to San Francisco, James and Hannah fall in love. Unable to admit her love, Hannah is determined that she will marry her fiance, once she finds him. Many mistakes are made and many misunderstandings tear the two lovers apart. When Hannah finally agrees to marry James and go back to New York with him, Hannah jilts him on the day that his ship is to leave.

When Hannah finally returns to New York, she is dismayed to find that James is engaged to another woman. She must use all her power to win him back.
