This book not only includes bios of all the characters, it also contains extra detail delving deep into the past life of Tony Soprano and his ancestors. It also looks at the lives of the people who are closest to Tony, his wife, kids, parents and colleagues and how Tony's actions effect them. But this book isn't written in the usual concept of plane writing on white pages, the informaion is presented in the form of confidential FBI e-mails, recorded conversations, school files and diarys. This makes the book a lot more fun to read. Overall, any fan of The Sopranos should not miis a chance to purchase book because its a stunner!!!

I have to say straight off that I am a big Sopranos fan, so any additional info in book form gets a lot of stars from me.
However, this book is fantastic. You can read through it or just browse through it.
It is so realistic that you start to wonder if it isn't "really real".
So much attention to detail, such as authentic postcards written at the beginning of the 20th century by Tony's ancestors, old photos of Livia and Johnny when they were first married, chatroom dialogs in which Meadow takes part with a secret nick, it's all absolutely fascinating.
The book is well structured with separate sections referring to different aspects of the Family and the family, and a great vocabulary list of "in" terms, which also help you to understand the TV series.
It is hard to believe that this was put together by just one author (maybe it was a combination of work), it is very very well thought out.
