Can Jill McGown put a foot wrong? This is yet another first-rate crime novel, and as a sequel of sorts to her earlier 'The Other Woman' it manages to provide a chilling update to that story as well as provide a totally engrossing murder mystery of its own. Like the protagonists Lloyd and Hill, you even start to doubt the evidence of your own eyes as the author skillfully weaves the various plot strands into an un-put-downable read. Another brilliant book.
